Investing in women’s economic empowerment and improving the status of women, through a Human Rights lens, sets a direct path toward gender equality, poverty eradication, and inclusive economic growth. Women make enormous contributions to humanity and the world, either as entrepreneurs, employees, leaders, or as unpaid caregivers in the home. Research suggests that when a woman’s status improves, so does her family, household, and, potentially, her community. Our desire is to engage women around the world using mapping technology and innovation that connects people, programs, networks, and storytelling in their workplace, marketplace, and community with the vision to improve the status quo.
